This was our families first trip to New Orleans. We abosolutely loved it! Randy was out guide in the Garden District, FANTASTIC! He was super knowlegble, polite, friendly and a total HOOT! We are scheduling a trip back in 2019 and will be hiring Randy for more tours. He is the best of the best!

2/25/18. Just went on the historical French Quarter tour tonight and I have to say that Randy was fantastic. He was a wealth of information and answered all my questions. He wasn’t cheesy at all either like some other guides we passed. I could really tell that he truly cared about the history of this area.

I found Randy to be very knowledgeable and attentive to our wishes, taking us to places that we would not have gone to on our own. Plus riding public transport was easier than trying to figure it out on our own. He was also fair and honest, giving us a discount when some of the proposed activities didn't pan out. Recommend without reservation.

On our recent trip to New Orleans, we signed up for a graveyard tour and got Randy as our guide. We found his mix of historical facts and humor to be exactly the right combination for us and booked a second tour of the Garden District specifically requesting Randy as our guide. Clearly an expert on the history and culture of New Orleans, and being a creole himself (now that we know the definition), Randy gives an engaging, entertaining, and historically accurate view into this fascinating city, incorporating personal anecdotes and his own family history. Hearing the snippets of what the other guides in the cemetery were saying to their groups as we passed by, we were so grateful to be with Randy. If you relish the real history, Randy is your man. No alternate facts here.

Oh, Gretchen, thank you for taking the time write this review! And thanks for bringing up "Creole." Just so the world knows what it actually means, a Creole was one who born in COLONIAL Louisiana...and their descendants. My father's mother's family came into the colony in the 1770's. Having Creo More
le roots doesn't give me any free drinks, free rooms or dates...but it is a source of pride. I actually love when people take multiple tours with me and I hope that you'll come back because it is better to tour with one guide than it is to go with several and get conflicting information. I pride myself in being able to provide historic resources to everything I say and, sadly, there are few in New Orleans that can do that. Thanks again! Less
