Texas A&M University-Kingsville Group

It's not difficult to keep a group of 45 High School Seniors, college students and young adults interested in the history of New Orleans when Randy is narrating.  Randy's indepth knowledge of everything New Orleans is phenomenal.  Couple that with his witty humor and you are in for the time of your life.  Thanks Randy!!!  We look forward to our next New Orleans adventure.

Arnoldo, the two days I spent with y'all were like a dream come true! I had such a great time that I can't believe it actually happened. I do want to say, however, that I worked with a great team - also thanks to Kyra, Angelo and Wayne who got problems solved and pulled it off without a hitch. I More

've said it before and I'll say it again - I'm nothing by myself...it takes people! And I work with the best of the best. Thanks for being among them, Arnoldo! MUCHAS GRACIAS, TEJANO! Less

Our Good Fortune

Reviewed March 19, 2018

My husband Bob and I, and our longtime friends ,Todd and Shawn Johnson,  were lucky enough to have gotten  Randy Bibb as our tourguide for a cemetary tour. He was entertaining but sincere,  passionate about the history he was teaching us. He made it easy for us to see people behind the buildings and tombs, stories of days gone by and current events. I can see that he is a treasure of New Orleans.

Informative French Quarter walking tour!

Reviewed March 13, 2018

Fascinating walking tour of the French Quarter in the late afternoon.  Randy is passionate about his subject and his city.  Loved every moment of it! Full of interesting “trivia” and I left much more informed about the architecture and history of the area, learning about galleries versus balconies and different types of construction (especially the kinds of bricks as well as wrought versus cast iron).  What life must have been like back then for our ancestors.

Well worth it!

Thank you, John - I love that 'What life must have been like back then for our ancestors." That's sort of what I try to bring to a tour - life. With SO MANY myths and stereotypes out there I think the truth of living "back in the day" is very fascinating. I'm glad you do, too. Thanks, again!

Exceptional Guide/ Uitzonderlijke Gids

Reviewed March 10, 2018

Randy is een echte fantastisch gid. Hij weet geschiedenis van New Orleans en ook Amerika.  Hij is ook grappig!  Ik raad Randy ten zeerste aan voor een rondleiding door New Orleans!

We had a cemetery tour with Randy.  Aside from the idiot in our group from California who thought he knew more than everyone (which Randy handled very well and put the gentleman in his place very professionally) it was a fantastic tour!  Not only does Randy know the history of the cemetery, he is quite knowledgeable on the history of New Orleans, Louisiana, and quite frankly anywhere (including the Netherlands).  He presents the history like a story, and not like reading from a monologue.  Also, he is not afraid to make fun of everyone (including himself).  So if you are a sensitive snowflake, do not take his tour.  We had an amazing time and will definitely request Randy if we return to New Orleans anytime soon.

LOL - This is a fun review, Mark; thanks for taking the time to write it. But let me just say to those people who *are* sensitive snowflakes - my tour is not necessarily a free-for-all. I have a knack for being able to read a group and my sense of humor tends to respond when I find kindred More

spirits. One can kind of tell when that sort of humor is appropriate and when it's not but when it is - WATCH OUT! (Wicked Grin) And believe me, I can take it as well as I dish it out. I've been on the receiving end of more than one really good sucker punch in my day, but it was all in good fun. And that's New Orleans, Baby - Civil War and Mardi Gras served on one po-boy! Thanks, again. Less

New Orleans Master

My family and I spent two hours touring around the French quarter with Randy and we had a wonderful time. I don't think I can speak for my whole family, but he gave me the most fantastic touring experience I've ever had. He cut out all of the trash you usually hear from some of those dime-a-dozen tour guides. I got a level of historical depth that really made me feel immersed in the culture and the busy city.  But like any good teacher, he was able to make the content entertaining so that no matter who you are, you'd enjoy the trip. I highly recommend spending some time with him and learning about some of the great history behind New Orleans.
