My family and I had a fantastic vacation in Egypt. This was largely due to our very friendly and informative tour guide, Hares Hassaneen. Not only is he extremely knowledgable in Egyptian history, he is a great ambassador for Egyptian culture. Harres literally planned every aspect of our trip. He is very flexible, responsive and easy to work with (we planned everything via email before the trip). Without Hares' help, we would have been completely overwhelmed in Egypt and would have missed a lot of the interesting sites - even though we are very experienced travellers. Instead, we had a completely stress free vacation that the whole family enjoyed. We also got to see a side of Egypt that most tourists don't get a chance to see - including a lesson on how to haggle in the souks :-)

Because he is so authentically engaged in what he does, it makes it far more than merely a "tour" but it becomes a transformational experience. We daydream of returning and having more time to share with him.
