Hares is so good at what he does, that I have booked another tour with him for November 2015 with friends! He is both professional and knowledgeable about all aspects of Egyptology--both the mainstream history and the slightly esoteric. He is funny, entertaining, and utterly charming. He knows how to make sure you see hidden rooms the general public misses. I can wholeheartedly say he will give you 100% and make your visit to his wonderful country a memory to cherish. Hares was the best guide I have ever encountered in all my travels. He is not only extremely knowledgeable on ancient history, but can also give you the real scoop on insider info in the Egyptology world. Hares easily got us into places that most tourists might not have easy access to and I can safely say that everyone loved him. He even helps little old ladies cross highways! I plan on returning to Egypt next year and definitely Hares is the guide I want to show me more.

My friend and I visited Egypt late august 2013 during protests happening there. First and foremost Hares convinced us " how safe is egypt" and replied to our queries promptly. Now I am very glad we trusted Hares and had our lifetime experience in Egypt. Other than having sound knowledge of history he owns great traits as a guide which makes you feel you are not traveling with a guide but a friend. He got great sense of humor and common sense.
