We found that Hares on trip advisor and it had great reviews so we figured we would try it. I'm so very glad that we did. We spent in Cairo two days. And both these days were arranged perfectly by Mr. Hares! He provided us with a car with driver for whole days at reasonable price. Thanks to Hares during this short trip I managed to visit all the main sights of Cairo (the Pyramids of Giza, Egyptian Museum, the Citadel and night sound and light show) with high comfortable and safety. Hares was the best guide I have ever encountered in all my travels. He is not only extremely knowledgeable on ancient history, but can also give you the real scoop on insider info in the Egyptology world. Hares easily got us into places that most tourists might not have easy access to and I can safely say that everyone loved him. He even helps little old ladies cross highways! I plan on returning to Egypt next year and definitely Hares is the guide I want to show me more.

My friend and I visited Egypt late august 2013 during protests happening there. First and foremost Hares convinced us " how safe is egypt" and replied to our queries promptly.
