Raffaele guided us through both Pompeii and Herculaneum with incredible knowledge. There was no question he couldn’t answer and his love of the region and its history shines through. He is warm and friendly and painted an incredible picture of how the towns used to be prior to the eruption.

Raffaele and his team helped plan the logistics and be the guides and arranged for personal transportation for our entire trip. We had an amazing experience. Didn’t have to worry about the plan at all. We received daily updates and clear instructions. Raffaele himself joined us for two of our days- very knowledgeable and made sure we were comfortable with our pace and needs especially because we were traveling with a toddler. He took us to the best spots and provided a grand experience overall

My grandson and I spent most of a day touring Pompeii and Herculaneum with Raffaele. He earned his research degree working on Pompeii excavations. The depth of his knowledge and his ability to communicate is extraordinary. His interest and enthusiasm was obvious. I have rarely had a guide I would rate higher than Raffaele.

Riccardo was the tour guide I had in Naples.  I had wanted an  archaelogical/ historicaol tour of the city.

He was excellent .  

His knowledge of the city , it's culture and history was  at a high level.

We walked and in that distance and time,  he was able to inform  and point out small details that a book would not nécessarily have you look for. 

We  walked at an easy pace.  Being shown that the outside of a building hides   incredible architecture and art inside was amazing.  

The underground Napoli tour and its comparison to Napoli today was a great ending of the tour.

After watching a few Naples Grand Tour videos on Youtube I knew that Raffaele was what we needed to get the most enjoyment out of our visit to Pompeii.  We were also fortunate to have him join us for a 3-hour customized walking tour of Naples.  In addition to being a passionate archeologist, he was very patient, and kind, and communicated in English extremely well.   We really appreciated our time with Raffaele.
