London has a fabulous story to tell, and I would love to share it with you.It has a history of over 2,000 years of dramatic events and fascinating personalities.On our tour, we will uncover London’s past, against a backdrop of stunning architecture, medieval alleyways, and colorful locals, with world-class museums and gallery collections to explore.My job, as a guide, is to act as an interpreter for London and to allow the city to tell you its story. I am a Londoner born and bred, brought up near the Wimbledon Tennis Stadium, with an English mother and an Italian father, so I also lived in Rome, Italy for several years. My father became a Professional Blue Badge Tourist Guide for London (and he is now a guide in Rome) and this inspired me to follow in his footsteps.I received my Blue Badge for Tourist Guiding in 2008 (Winner of the Blue Badge Tower of London Award, 2008) and I am also a City of London Guide. My specialist area as a guide is in art tours of all the different periods - my academic background is in Art History, and I have a Masters in the 20th-century art from University College London.As a guide this allows me to bring to life the incredible collections of art that we are lucky enough to have here in London. Do get in touch so we can put together your perfect London itinerary.
