The Best Guide in Agra

Reviewed June 23, 2018

Monika was a truly spectacular guide. Having been the Taj twice in the past I wasn’t sure if I would learn anything new but she blew both my and my friend’s expectations out of the water. She knows a TON about the architecture, features, and impressive views of each place and made sure we got to do everything we wanted to, while avoiding the crowds and the heat. She was generous with her time and we will recommend her to anyone and everyone going to Agra - especially other women and solo travelers!

My Best Days in India

Reviewed February 8, 2015

It was my good fortune to spend a couple of days in and around Agra with Monika Sharma as my guide. While I'm an elderly lady and she's a young woman, we hd an instant rapport. I thoroughly enjoyed her company. She's very personable, has a playful sense of humor, and speaks good English She was extremely knowledgeable about the places we visited and eagerly shared that knowledge. She made sure we accomplished everything on my wish list. She worked well with my driver so the car was always where and when we needed it. I'm a keen photographer and she made sure I got the best angles. She also could handle a camera, so I'm even in some of the photos. When I returned home I was able to recommend her to a friend who was equally pleased. We've stayed in contact through e-mail.

Visit to the Taj Mahal and Agra fort

Reviewed January 27, 2015

I visited Agra in December 2013 and had the good fortune to have Monika to be my guide around both the Taj Mahal and Agra fort. As well as being an excellent guide, with a very good knowledge of both sites and their histories, Monika was also good company to be with. If I visit any of the many fabulous sites in India, I would be very happy to have Monika as my guide again and would be happy to recommend her as a guide to any of my friends if they were visiting India.
