Tapas was a very friendly tour guide, who arranged very nice tours around the Sreemangal area. I did three tours with him, one taken care of by a colleague by him who was also good. Tapas speaks English very well, is communicative and has the knowledge and necessary contacts for his work. That he works with street children and teaches them english is a very interesting other thing he does.

Tapas is one of the best guides I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. From the time he picked us up from the train station, to the time he dropped us back, this was an amazing, hassle free trip! Instead of giving us the typical tourist tour, he took the time to take us into interior villages, and really introduced us to the beauty of Bangladesh- nature and the people. These days were definitely my favorite times during my entire stay in Bangladesh. Best of all, he is trustworthy, friendly, and really makes his guests feel comfortable and at home. He arranges the schedule to suit the travelers and maximize their experience. I would definitely recommend Tapas as a guide for anyone wishing to visit Sreemangal.
