Welcome to Bangladesh! This is Tapas Dash, a passionate eco-tour guide and social entrepreneur based in Sreemangal, the heart of tea country.

Since 2009, I’ve been working under the Nishorgo Network, a government-led conservation initiative that also runs an eco-cottage in Sreemangal.With over a decade of experience in guiding travelers through the lush forests, tea gardens, tribal villages, and wildlife-rich areas of Sreemangal, I focus on delivering responsible and enriching travel experiences.

I am the founder of Green Leaf Eco Tourism, an eco-tour company based in Sreemangal/Sylhet.While I personally guide tours in the Sreemangal area, for tours across other regions of Bangladesh, I collaborate with a network of skilled local guides.These experienced, English-speaking guides work under my company to ensure every traveler receives knowledgeable and personalized service—while also allowing local communities to benefit from tourism directly.

In addition to guiding, I also run Chamung Restaurant & Eco Cafe in Sreemangal—a serene, eco-friendly space where visitors can enjoy authentic local and indigenous cuisine in a beautiful natural setting.

Eco-tourism is not just a profession for me—it’s a purpose.I believe in giving back.That’s why part of the income from every tour goes toward community projects in Sreemangal, such as the free school for street children I established in 2012, or food distribution initiatives for those in need.
