Holiday with slimline tours

Reviewed May 27, 2014

We went to Sri Lanka in 2009 , with some friends , when we there we went to our hotel , Not knowing anything about the country , before we went ,we looked on the internet. To find a tour guide and we read some great reviews , about sumudu perera , slimline tours , so we knew who we were looking for when we got to the hotel for our tours around Sri Lanka , we met sumudu the next day , we booked tours with him , we went to some amazing places , elephant riding , bare backed and in a box , we also went , ( dolphin watching blue whale watching , ) we went to Adams peak which is a mountain , that we climbed , I can't remember how many steps , but I think it was about a thousand and more , but it was worth climbing the views were amazing , we also climb lion rock , not as many steps but again worth the climb for the views ,we met sumudus family had dinner with them , a few times , they are a great family always happy to help , I Recommand sumudu ( slimlinetours ) as a great tour guide he made our holiday very special , I thing I like the most is slimline make you feel relaxed , while you are on tours with them , which is a great thing nobody wants to be rushed ,while they are on holiday

Take your time with Slimline Tours

Reviewed May 24, 2014

I have visited Sri Lanka 3 times over the last 5 years. I was recommended Sumudu by a friend and got in contact with him via email before my holiday. The tours we went on were custom made and we could spend as much time at each location, stopping when we wanted. Sumudu and his team were very polite and accommodating, always thinking about what would be great for us. It was hugely beneficial to use a local tour guide with real heart and knowledge about the country who was willing and able to share this with us. We have visited all the main tourist attractions Kandy, Dambula Caves, Lion Rock, elephant orphanages, Galle, Pigeon Island, Colombo for shopping, as well as Trincomalee, Negombo, Marawila and many others. I can honestly say that we have tried tours with the booking agency and other locals. They are rushed, you have to share them with other travellers and if you want to adjust your booking, it becomes problematic. My tip for any traveller would be - use the locals tour guides ...... USE SUMUDU PERERA @ Slimline Tours. You will be guaranteed a memorable holiday.

I cannot recommend sumudu and slimline tours too much. We really enjoyed all our trips with him and the highlight was to the elephant orphanage, where he also managed to arrange for my wife to wash, and be washed by an elephant! He does everything he can to tailor the tours to your wishes and is very friendly and knowledgeable.
