Sumudu Sanjeewa Perera

I have visited Sri Lanka 3 times over the last 5 years. I was recommended Sumudu by a friend and got in contact with him via email before my holiday. The tours we went on were custom made and we could spend as much time at each location, stopping when we wanted. Sumudu and his team were very polite and accommodating, always thinking about what would be great for us. It was hugely beneficial to use a local tour guide with real heart and knowledge about the country who was willing and able to share this with us. We have visited all the main tourist attractions Kandy, Dambula Caves, Lion Rock, elephant orphanages, Galle, Pigeon Island, Colombo for shopping, as well as Trincomalee, Negombo, Marawila and many others. I can honestly say that we have tried tours with the booking agency and other locals. They are rushed, you have to share them with other travellers and if you want to adjust your booking, it becomes problematic. My tip for any traveller would be - use the locals tour guides ......
