When my mom and I planned our Siem Reap trip last year, we consulted Tripadvisor for the best tour guide. I'm glad that we chose Sopanha. He replied promptly to our email and would patiently answer any inquiries we had. :) Unfortunately, he was not available on the date we would have our tour but he made sure that he had a replacement. It was a hassle-free transaction and on the tour date, Vann Seila and his driver, Rak, picked us up on time at the hostel. Like Sopanha, Vann Seila was also very patient with us and would stop when he see us get tired from the walking. All in all, I recommend coordinating with Yous Sopanha for your tour! :)

From the first email to our sad goodbyes Sopanha was amazing. He answers emails promptly, pick ups always on time. He was very in tune with our needs and wishes - we were a family group,of 6 plus an 8 month old baby. Tours were informative but always fun. Vehicles and drivers very good and safe. We booked a tour guide and left with a new friend. We spent 4 days in all touring with sophana and are so happy we used his services. The best tour guide we have used in south East Asia.

Mr Sophana was recommended to us by a friend. Sophana was very approachable by email and provided us some very good options in a direct and honest way. We selected a two day package that included all the major sights. Sophana has a wealth of knowledge about the Khmer empire and the temples of Angkor and was able to educate us in a manner that was both interesting and entertaining. Sophana timed the tour in such a manner that we avoided the crowds as best we could. Also, and a very big plus, Sophana tailored the tour to suit our two primary school children and was able to teach them about the temples as well. I would recommend Sophana for photography enthusiasts - he was able to show me some great views and had some excellent recommendations for composing a photo.
