Robert was the guide on an English travel company - Regent Holidays - tour of Armenia and Nagorno Karabakh The group didn't know Robert or Armenia or even one another - before this trip During the 8-9 days of the tour he was everything one could wish for in a guide As others have said he was warm, welcoming and genial. His knowledge is compendious - but delivered lightly and entertainingly He is bi-lingual - which helps enormously when there is so much to learn about Armenia The calm efficiency and cheerful good nature of the way he acted as tour guide has greatly enhanced our visit Well done indeed!

Robert was outstanding in his encyclopaedic knowledge of Armenia and Nagorno Karabakh/Artsakh and their history and culture; as a guide he was approachable, warm and friendly and always ready to help or advise if he could. His knowledge of English is impressive, particularly for one who is self-taught and he was energetic in ensuring that we, his tour group, enjoyed ourselves and learnt things at the same time while he shared with us his love for and knowledge of his country.

Robert was a very friendly and knowledgeable guide steeped in the history of Armenia. Nothing was too much trouble for him and If we asked obscure questions he would make an effort to find out the information required. Any tour which is led by Robert in Armenia or Nagorno Karabagh is lucky to have him.

Robert was the best tour guide I never had. Because of the language (I usually speak french) he was very patient and very clear in English. He knew exactly how to captivate my attention. I'll travel again to Armenia and hope to have Robert again to let me discover the country
