I have had two tours with Ahmed Khattab and each time it was an amazing experience. Ahmed has a degree in Egyptology and a masters in Hieroglyphics and it shows. While at the Egyptian Museum he gave us a great overview of Egyptian history so we had the perfect foundation to understanding the periods of time in Egypt. While at the temple complexes he gives an excellent synopsis of the purpose of the temples and then goes into detail with his ability to expertly decipher the writings on the temple walls. No matter what questions we had Ahmed answered them with intelligence and confidence. He is extremely knowledgeable, kind, friendly, and has a  great sense of humour. I have no hesitation in recommending Ahmed Khattab as your guide – you could not find a better guide in all of Egypt !
