Need to improve

Sankaran seems to be a good person and was polite with us but unfortunately this was our worst experience with a guide. He was so lazy that he just took us to the main gate of the sites and explained the stuffs then and there from far distance instead accompanying us inside those temples and explaining the stories properly. We have watched other guides there who were so nicely accompanying their customers and explaining the stories as per the places they were passing through. His English wasn’t good enough to understand neither he knows how to narrate/tell stories about the place. We were not expecting him to be pro in English but at least we were expecting to know the history of that place through him properly whether in English/Hindi that’s the reason we hire a guide in such places. We told him on phone that we will start from Puducherry after 12:00 noon and hence will give him a call once we start so that he don’t have to wait for us. We started from Puducherry @ 12:30 hrs and reached to Pancha Ratha @ 15:15 hrs. After which we parked our car, we only bought tickets for us and then he took us to the main gate of Pancha Ratha around 15:30/35 hrs and ended our tour at Shore temple around 18:00 hrs. If we calculate, it was only two and half hour tour he provided with no proper history of the place hence we will not recommend his name to anyone. It was full waste of money, youtube videos shares better information than him.Actually this wasn’t our first experience with a guide, we have hired other guides while visiting other historical places in India like Hampi, Golconda Fort & Taj Mahal and we were very much happy & satisfied with those guides. The way they took us to all the places and explained each and everything so precisely & beautifully that you will fall in love with History and those places.

Первый день экскурсии по Махабалипураму Кумар провел отлично ! Много рассказывал и показывал . В конце экскурсии он начал настаивать оставить ему отзыв на сайте обязательно сегодня и сейчас . Так как не было интернета у нас он даже раздал его через WI-FI лишь бы отзыв написали ему. Ранее у нас была договоренность что он проведет еще один день экскурсии по Пондичери и Ауровилю. Поэтому так как у нас не было разменных денег какую то часть денег мы отдали ему авансом за следующий день . Утром мы должны были выехать с нашим водителем и Кумаром в Пондичери. Но утром к нам в гостиницу пришел Кумар и сказал что не сможет поехать , так как его папе нужно делать операцию и он останется чтоб проводить его в госпиталь. Договорились что он приедет сам в Пондичери. Он действительно приехал к нам в Ауровиль ,но вот назвать это экскурсией это было сложно! Во первых он ничего толком не знал про Ауровиль и не знал что где там находится. В результате мы прошли быстро до Матримандира и обратно так ничего и не увидев . На все наши вопросы он отвечал невнятно и все время торопился на автобус домой . При этом постоянно напоминал что ему очень нужны деньги. В общем мы остались крайне не довольны его работой!
