Sankaran Kumar guided me today around in Mahabalipuram. He is very nice, shares a real lot of good information about this place, in a comfortable manner. Good English! Trustworthy guide who also recommended several interesting other area's in Tamil Nadu where he is willing and able to guide.

Nice tour visiting mamalapuram's monuments with the amusing and nice stories of Kumar, he led US in nice spots with beautiful view, and was able to show us a family of wild monkeys, so fun and cute. We had a great time!!

meeting Kumar was the best thing that happened to me when i arrived in mamallapuram. he helped me initially with a great place to stay and showed me some hidden treasures when it came to places to eat. On our sightseeing tour around mahabs I was amazed by his extensive knowledge of the ancient sites but also the significances behind them Highly recommended for a guide in Mahabalipuram.

I met Kumar in 2012, over the year I spent in India he became a friend. He made me discovered many places in south India. Taught me a bit of tamil and taught me how to bargain. He has a great heart and is very helpful. He is a wonderful guide as he knows many anecdotes about the history of some monuments you can discover in Mahabs. He ll also help in finding fair rated accommodation in Mahabs and some tasteful restaurants. You ll enjoy his company as he talks passionately about his city and is always up for a laugh. I would highly recommend him. He does this job because he is Fascinated by all the stories surrounding Mahabs in particular but he is especially fascinating. Enjoy your trip.
