We are lucky to have a most amazing guide like Edwin who made the hike to  Machu Pichu, Hyuana Pichu, and our tour experiences in the sacred valley unforgettable.   He is extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of the tour and very fluent in English.  

- His communication before the tour was excellent

- He was very accurate about what to get and what to expect

- His pace during the tour was excellent and never pushy

- He is known to many officials which made it easy with some aspects

-He was very punctual

Overall, you feel very comfortable asking so many questions about cultures, history, and religion and you get great honest answers.  If I do this hike again, it will be with Edwin and I would definitely recommend him to anyone.   The price was reasonable considering that we had a private comfortable car with a driver which made Wdwin focus on the guide aspects and explain the geography and other matters while driving.  

We were a group of 4 friends looking for an active vacation in the Sacred Valley of Peru. You can't go wrong with Edwin! He has a great sense of humor, and an encyclopedia's worth of knowledge of the history and folklore of the region. He also took the time to give us great recommendations for local restaurants and introduced us to local snacks and specialties that made our trip all the more memorable.  I also deeply appreciate his punctuality and preparation.  It made the trip so smooth and we didn't have to worry about anything except taking in the breathtaking views.  

Edwin was absolutely wonderful! My boyfriend and I could not have asked for a better tour guide to show us around Cusco and the area's surrounding ruins. Edwin was extremely knowlegable on both the history of Cusco and the Incan empire. But more importantly, Edwin was personable and lovely to spend time with - it felt like we were exploring the city with an old friend rather than a tour guide. I would HIGHLY recommend Edwin to anyone visiting Cusco! I couldn't imagine our trip being the same without him!

Edwin covered it all. My husband has waited for 50 years to go to Peru. Specifically Machu Pichu. Yes, we are that old (in our 70's). Truly the trip of a life time thanks to Edwin. Edwin handled all the tickets and arrangements from our arrival in Arequipa to our departure from Cuzco 15 days later. We were in excellent hands. We had full days that were planned to give us the best views, historical sites, and city events with the "least" amount of other tourists. We actually were able to get pictures of Machu Pichu without people. Edwin was flexible and customized the tour to fulfil our interests and abilities. We are not very big shoppers. But, we are big into people, history, religion, art and culture. We managed to join a local wedding and a local political campaign. See the regional clothes and hats. Learn how salt is collected. Learn how to build an island in Lake Titicaca. Try many new foods. See animals in the wild (not in the zoo). Made a successful offering to a smoking volcano for good weather. Celebrated the anniversary of Machu Pichu (very special event). Lots of physical activity for us each day ('cause we can). Heard many personal stories from Edwin about his family and growing up in Peru. How Peru has changed and is continuing to change. We have traveled to many continents and countries.
