From Belgium we send our oldtimer-cars to the Albanian border to have a scenic tour there, we flew in. In Belgium, Albania is still a bit a "strange" destination. After picking up the cars, we met Ben who was waiting us at the bordre and directly we felt safe and confident. He took care of all the custom-administration, we had no delay. Not obvious seems to me. Ben showed us the most magnificent scenic roads trough the country. At any time he knows all about history, politics and what ever you want to know about the country even culture and etnology. We especialy care about good food and were never disapointed about the restuarants Ben selected. The country is worth seeing and absoloutly safe, certainly if Ben takes care of you. We will be back! Thanks Ben for the very special experience!

If you decide to hike in Albania, look for Arben. An excellent guide, ecologist, nature fighter.... interesting and communicative person. Heavy climb to the Maja Jezerce, thanks to Arben, was a great adventure. Wonderful memories!!! Thnx Arben!!!

If you visit Albania, you should definetely get Arben.  He knows a great deal about the Balkans, is really passionate about showing Albania to visitors and is just a really cool & fun person to be around .  It was an amazing trip travelling around Albania & Kosovo, Arben makes the places and history come alive with a nice touch of humor.  Going with Arben was definetely a big difference in the visit to Albania, would not have been the same without him.

Ben knows (nearly) everything about the history, the present situation and all of albania.

We were impressed by the beautiful nature and had a very funny time together.

We also had a great stay at Jezcerca guest house in Valbona and with Eastern in Theth.
