Arben Kola is an upbeat, positive, personable , energetic tour guide who is fluent in English and guided 10 of us 45+ people from London U.K. on a tour of Tirana, Korce, Durres and BERAT in Albania in April 2025. He provided a varied itinerary for every day of our trip, taking into account individual mobility needs. Arben provided detailed historical, literary and political background to all the places we visited and was always willing to answer our questions. One evening, he took us to an ethnic Albanian restaurant in Tirana, which we would never have found ourselves, and which we all enjoyed. I joined a group tour in the north of Albania and then hired Arben to take me on a further tour of other northern sights. Above all Arben is passionate and very knowledgeable about Albania politics and history and I thoroughly enjoyed being guided by him. He managed the group well especially given the different levels of mobility in the group and was attentive to the differing group needs. I asked Arben to take me on a day trip to see other sights. We went up to the border with Montenegro and then to a fabulous restaurant; Arben seemed to know half of the Albanian population and we could not have got into the restaurant without his connections.
