Joe is an open children friendly Funny guy. Lots of stories to tell and easy going. He is my number one guide if i choose to come to Kalimantan again.

We, a family with four children (12, 10, 8 and 4 years old) toured with Joe one week this summer through Kalimantan.

We did Orang Utan watching in Palangkaraya, gold mining, traditional house, trip to Nagara swamp land with swimming buffalo, Meratus Mountain trekking with overnight stays at local houses, bamboo rafting and in Banjarmasin longnose monkey watching, floating market and canal tour.

He is a very open-minded, responsible, spontaneous and friendly guy. From the first moment we met wih him, his wife and daughter the kids trusted him and had tons of fun joking around.

Because of his good contacts to locals he is able to arrange trips a bit way off the trodden paths.

His  English is fluent and he does not hesitate to answer questions and share his knowledge.

The fare for the tour was very reasonable, the communication before and after was fast and easy.

We came home with lots of impressions. 

Joe made the trek very exotic with the places and routes he took us , he is easy and pleasant to deal with and spend few days aroud. He makes sure we were comfortable, he went extra mile to make us enjoy the trek and find the excitement we were looking for

joe took us on a real adventure into the jungle - machetes, campfires, swimming in waterfalls, proper trekking and wildlife spotting. We stayed with local families along the way who were so welcoming. Joe was an excellent guide and we had a great time. It was just me and my husband and we loved every minute. Before the trip joe was really helpful and quick to respond via whatsapp. Thanks joe!! Hope to see you and the family again one day.
