The time my wife and I spent with Joe was one of the highlights of an amazing holiday in Indonesia. I consider myself lucky to have seen something of the 'real' Indonesia, something that would have been very hard to do without him. Joe's English is excellent, and we learned so much about Indonesia and Kalimantan. He introduced us to diamond miners, bamboo raft guides and jungle tribespeople, explaining many things about how they live. We adventured through beautiful jungle, floated down river rapids on a bamboo raft and took a boat through the floating suburbs of Banjarmasin. He was so kind, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. I would love the chance to go back and tour around with him some more!

De tour naar de dajaks in het meratus gebergte is fantastisch, Ook voor de orang oetan trip en andere trips kan je bij hem terecht Heel vriendelijke en behulpzame man . We spent three days with Joe around Loksado and we had a great time with him! He's very friendly and with him you will feel like a member of his family! He also showed us great places and introduced us to very nice people. He loves his region and is always eager to give you information about it. We spent a night in a Dayak village for a ceremony, and that was quite a unique experience as we were the first tourists to have been there! He also took us to the floating market in Banjarmasin, and it was amazing!! In short, I highly recommend Joe as a guide, he'll make you see places you would never have seen on your own!
