Over the past 17 years my husband and I have taken 15 tours and have had very good to excellent guides, but Rafael Rozanes was the best one we ever had. His knowledge of Israel's history, geography, political and other issues is in depth. He bound the group into a "family", treated sensitive information with impartiality, and has a great sense of humor. His care for people was obvious. The trip wouldn't have been the same without him!

Our trip to Israel was life changing. Although our group didn't know one another prior to arrival by the end we were all dear friends. Additionally we had a blast and learned so much. Rafi is a innate teacher and born leader keeping several balls in the air and never losing his cheerful disposition. His optimism and love for Israel was contagious. We could not have had a better guide.

Rafi Rozanes was one of the most excellent tour guides we have ever encountered in our many trips abroad. He was warm, friendly, and very outgoing - he made each member of our 15-person group feel that he or she was included in the exciting story of Israel which Rafi enthusiastically shared. I remember several times he went out of his way to organize extra activities for some of our group who wanted to experience tour sites that were not part of the regular schedule. He shared many personal stories which brought alive the Israeli culture and experience. His English is excellent as well as his knowledge of the Israeli culture and history. We found Rafi to be a very congenial and knowledgeable tour guide on our recent tour of Israel and the Holy Land. He has a vast store of information, patience and gave us extra experiences that may not have been on the schedule and was flexible to make changes when necessary. Rafi would go the extra mile to accommodate our desire for copies of printed articles. He was our leader, but also joined in to be part of our group with conversation and activities. When the activity was too much for older members of the group, he had a very gentle, but firm manner to suggest for them not to participate and why.
