I spent a week with Anil at the end of 2017.

I had previously been in Vietnam for a week, Sri Lanka for two weeks, and I followed my week in Nepal with two weeks in India.  

During those five weeks, I had contact with probably 20 guides, tour leaders, drivers and other support professionals.

Anil was simply the best of them all.

He was marvelously entertaining on the ride from Kathmandu to Nagarkot;

he know the best places for photography;

and he was infinitely patient with my requests.

At one point, when we were visiting a shop that made custom musical instruments,

Anil pulled out a harmonica and jammed with the owner and his 5 year old son.

What a blast!

I had a chance to meet his wife Susan, who is also a top-rated guide.

I hope to return to Nepal this year for another round with Anil.

 Anil , and his wife Susan, made Nepal come alive for me .   He has a passion for his country and is extremely knowledgable about Nepal's history and culture.  I had only a vague idea of what I wanted to see in the Kathmandu Valley and Anil was able to customize a tour with my interests in mind.  After visiting the major sites with Anil one day he suggested his wife, Susan, take me on a tour of the rural areas around Kathmandu.  On another day he also arranged a driver for me when I wanted to go on a day hike near  Nagarkot.   Anil is an excellent guide and will enhance your visit to the beautiful country of Nepal. 

Anil is among the most flexible, hardworking, accomodating people I have met.  He's genuinely talented as a guide.  We had a short time to explore Nepal and covered an amazing amount of ground, both within Kathmandu and the surrounding areas.  The relationships Anil has in the area were extensive and helpful as Anil was able to take us to one of the most amazing hotels I've ever seen and never would have found on my own, the restaurants he recommended were all excellent, and the vendors were all helpful, honest and of the highest quality. 

I highly recommend using Anil for any type of adventure in Nepal, whether you are sightseeing, trekking, or anything else.  He does an outstanding job of representing his country and all of its people.

Anil is amazing all round - an amazing man who has amazing knowledge of a truly amazing country! He made the tour so interesting and pertinent in every respect. An absolute gentleman who has a heart of gold. He was really attuned to my interests and made the experience very special indeed. 

I have been to Nepal on numerous occasions and always use the services of Anil. His knowledge of Kathmandu and the surrounding areas are excellent. He is flexible, reliable and very friendly. He always goes the extra mile to ensure you have a great experience. Highly Recommended!
