We would like to thank Sarath and our driver Asoka for all your help planning our trip to Sri Lanka for our 30th anniversary, their communication and organisation before we arrived was superb, although we had our own plan, suggestions as to other places to go were excellent. Asoka was a wonderful driver and guide, he quickly understood the things we liked to see and the things we wanted to avoid, he went out of his way to suggest some wonderful places to visit and some wonderful experiences that we would otherwise have missed, Asoka, was always punctual, friendly, helpful and made our holiday a truly memorable experience. We are really pleased that we chose a driver on our 11 days trip around Sri Lanka. It was really easy. We were picked up at the airport and after that, we just had to say where and when we wanted to go, and the driver would take us there. On the way he told us about Sri Lanka, what to see and lots about the culture. We never felt forced to do or see anything, it was just suggestions. Our driver would recommend places to stay if we didn’t know where to stay. We pretty much planed the trip on the way (may sometimes our driver was a little bit worried, that we couldn´t make up our mind, but he got used to it…). Even when we changed our mind after half an hour and wanted to check out and leave for the next city, while our driver thought we were staying and had left his laundry, he was just laughing and picked up the laundry some days later on our way back :-) We would recommend our driver Kushantha. His English was fine, he was friendly and very easy going. The spice gardens is a big turist trap, but just tell the driver to go somewhere else :-)
