Travel from Chan May Port and to the historic city of Hội An, a city on Vietnam’s central coast known for its well-preserved Ancient Town, cut through with canals. The former port city’s melting-pot history is reflected in its architecture, a mix of eras and styles from wooden Chinese shophouses and temples to colourful French colonial buildings, ornate Vietnamese tube houses and the iconic Japanese Covered Bridge with its pagoda.

Chan May Port to Hoi An expand_more
At 7:00 am, take a cruise ship and land in Chan May Port. Drive to Hoi An from there.
Travel on National Highway No. 1 to reach Hai Van pass and watch the Lang Co Beach, Lap An Lagoon and Danang city from Hai Van summit along the way.
Reach Danang city and visit Cham Museum to learn more of Champa culture before travelling ahead to Hoi An. It is dedicated to this period and the Champa existence, which began predominantly in Vietnam's coastal areas. Housing the largest exhibition of Cham sculpture globally, the museum displays almost 300 terracotta and stone works of art ranging from the 7th to the 15th centuries.
Have lunch at a restaurant.
Walk around the Hoi An Ancient Town, including Japanese Bridge, Tan Ky, Phuc Kien, Sa Huynh Museum and local market.
Return to Chan May Port.
