  • There's a separate per-person entrance fee, which is not included in the cost of the hike, and it will be paid at the entrance gate.  
What to bring
  • Wear shoes with good traction; no sandals.
  • Dress according to the weather forecast; layers are ideal.
  • If it is a sunny day, bring a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen, especially in warmer weather.
  • Murray Canyon has several water crossings, resembling a stream; you may get your shoes wet. Bring extra shoes and socks, and leave them in your car for after the hike.
Know before you go
  • Note: Trail order may vary based on the day or preference.
  • Prepare: Wear comfortable attire and sturdy shoes, and bring water. Duration varies based on group pace and interests.
  • A separate entrance fee is not included in the cost of the hike and needs to be paid separately at the entrance.
  • Participants should have at least a moderate fitness level, as the hike is just over 5 miles long with about 800 feet of elevation gain.
  • Not recommended for sedentary individuals; participants must have full mobility.
  • Be prepared for the possibility of getting your shoes wet from crossing the small stream in Murray Canyon.
