A sample itinerary could be:
- Meet at your hotel or near the White House
- Begin with an introduction to Washington DC, why and how it was established and our history.
- Visit the north front of the White House and the historic sights around Lafayette Park
- Walk to Pennsylvania Avenue and stop at the WWI memorial
- Walk to the Mall seeing the south front of the of the White House
- Walk to the Washington Monument and enjoy the view. (Going up the monument not included except by special arrangement.)
- Using the Circulator Bus or walk to visit a number of the famous memorials possibilities include Jefferson, FDR, MLK, Korean Veterans, Lincoln, Vietnam Veterans, WWII and Einstein.
- Continue and end the tour at the west front of the US Capitol Building or at another convenient place.
