Leafy Cambridge is something of a picture-perfect English town. By the meandering River Cam, wolfhounds wander between blooming beds of rhododendron and straw-hat touting punters glide beneath old stone bridges. In the famous colleges erudite students pour over ancient tomes, dusty from their centuries of preservation between the gothic facades of King's College and St John's.
Be sure to ask your Cambridge tourist guide about bike rental spots in town, so you can join the clusters of spectacled professors gliding up and down the cobbled streets. Then, head to explore the legendary university complex, wallowing amidst the English gardens of Jesus College, seeking out Wittgenstein originals at the Wren Library and wondering at the iconic spires of the King's College Chapel. 
Of course there are museums too—oodles of them in fact; from the collections of classical archaeology on Sidgwick Avenue, to the two-century old Fitzwilliam Museum on Trumpington. And after you’re done learning, why not grab an earthy pub lunch at one of the Cantabrigian taverns, sloshing down hoppy ales in the company of off-duty undergrads.
