  • Day 1: Kampala to Bwindi expand_more

    • Meet your Bwindi guide at your accommodation at 0700hrs. 

    • Start early in the morning from Kampala and head southwest across the equator.

    • Drive through savannah grasslands and see banana plantations and herds of Ankole cattle, famous for their incredible longhorns.

    • Ascend into the Kigezi highlands, known as the "Switzerland of Africa", with terraced farming and mountain scenery and continue your drive on to Bwindi.

  • Day 2: Gorilla Santuary expand_more

    • Have an early breakfast and enter the gorilla sanctuary for your adventure. The beauty of this rainforest is spectacular. The area offers a dramatic steeply forested landscape and is incredibly dense, but crisscrossed by numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists.

    • Feel the thrill of spending time observing these gentle and endangered giants.

    • Come back, relax, have dinner and spend overnight at the Bwindi view.

  • Day 3: Departure expand_more

    • Wake up early in the morning, have your breakfast, end your stay in the "Land of the Mountain Gorillas" and depart with great memories of the moments spent with the fascinating Mountain Gorillas.

    • Transfer back to Kampala with lunch en-route.

    • Proceed to Entebbe Airport where you will catch your flight back home.
