• After an early breakfast, you leave Kampala for a half-day drive west via Mityana to Fort Portal through the thick jungle of the Nile Delta to Kibale National Park just under the Ruwenzori Mountains.

• You will stopover in Fort Portal for lunch.

• Thereafter, you are free to drive at your leisure to Kibale National Park.

• Start the day with an early breakfast and then drive to Kanyanchu Research Centre for a briefing.

• Your fascinating experience with the Chimpanzees starts after the briefing, at 8:00 hrs.

• Participate in a half-day search for chimpanzees and other primates, including Red-Colobuses, Blues, Red-tailed and grey-cheeked Mangabeys through the dense forest. Your tour guide will ensure that your walk is informative as it is enjoyable.

• You will also get to take an afternoon nature walk in Bigodi swamp, known for its rich diversity of birdlife, including the rare shoebill stork, an initiative of the local community.

• After your breakfast, you will take a hike to the crater lakes of Ndali- an amazing experience for sighting the best scenery in Uganda.
