Day 1: Transfer to Kitugum via Lira/Soroti/Gulu expand_more
- After arrival, start your Kidepo Valley National Park safari and enjoy the Ugandan landscape passing by the windows.
Overnight in Kitgum.

Day 2: Travel to Kidepo Valley National Park expand_more
- Drive northwards through Lira's vast plains and semi-arid savannah landscape, framed by jagged mountains and wooded hills. Kidepo is one of the wildest and most spectacular reserves in Africa. The landscape throughout the park is studded with small hills, rocky outcrops, and inselbergs. You can obtain stunning views in all directions, enjoy panoramic views of the Narus River Valley, and take wildlife photographs from all corners.
- Take an evening game drive along the Narus River Valley for game viewing and photography of elephants, herds of buffaloes, jackals, Jackson's Hartebeest, Klipspringer and possibly lions.

Day 3: Visit Kanangorok hot spring and meet the native people expand_more
- Go for a morning game drive to Kanangorok hot spring to see various animals, including ostriches.
- In the afternoon, visit the Karamojong people at Karenna and Kadepo. Meet the local elders and have an opportunity to interact with them. They will show you their kraals, grinding stones and many more interesting items.

Day 4: Transfer back through Gulu expand_more
- Travel through the remotest zones of Uganda, seeing the villages and thatched houses from your window.
Overnight in the town of Gulu, Boma hotel.

Day 5: Visit Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary and return to Kampala expand_more
- Drive to Kampala, taking a light break at the Ziwa Rhino sanctuary to look at rhinos before continuing onwards.
- You will see the popular Lluwero triangle before reaching the city and returning to your hotel. End of tour.

This remote park in the north of Uganda is something out of the ordinary and the only one in Uganda where you can see both zebras and giraffes in the same place.
