Day 1: Kampala to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park expand_more
Depart from Kampala to Bwindi National Park. En route, stop by the equator, take photos of the souvenirs and have lunch.
- Upon arrival at the park in the evening, check in to Mantana Tented Camp or Buhoma community rest camp for an overnight stay.

Day 2: Track gorillas expand_more
Early in the morning, embark on a gorilla trek and track them. Return to the campsite to have lunch.
In the afternoon, visit the pygmies and learn the culture of Bwindi.
Overnight stay at the camp.

Day 2: Bwindi Impenetrable Gorilla Park to Kibale forest National Park expand_more
Early morning, go for a game drive and then return to the camp.
Post breakfast, head to Kibale National Park.
Upon arrival, relax at the campsite for the rest of the evening.
Overnight stay at the Ndali Lodge or Tooro Resort.

Day 4: Full day game drive at Kibale forest National Park expand_more
In the morning, go for game drives to track gorillas and other animals such as red and blue duikers, bushbucks, sitatungas, bushpigs, giant forest hogs, common warthogs, African buffalo, leopards, African golden cats, servals, mongooses and two species of otter.
Overnight stay at the campsite.

Day 5: Kibale National Park to Kampala expand_more
Go for an early morning game drive to spot the wildlife.
Post breakfast, depart to Kampala.
End of the tour.

Know before you go
Before you go:
Do not visit the gorillas if you have a cold or other infectious illness
Human waste should be buried 30cm (12”) deep
The maximum number of visitors is eight persons per gorilla group
When you are with the gorillas:
Maintain a 7m (21ft) distance from the gorilla
Avoid smoking and drinking
If you must sneeze or cough, turn away from the gorillas, as they can catch the infection from the humans
Do not do flash photography.
