  • Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire expand_more
    • Leave the lodge/camp at 06.00 am, drive for about 90 minutes to Tarangire National Park. This park is often referred to as the “home of elephants”, and you have a great chance to spot elephants in large groups gathering around the Tarangire River. Other animals to be spotted include leopards, lions, giraffes and even tree-climbing pythons!

Dinner and overnight will be at the Lodge/Camp.

  • Day 3: Tarangire National Park to Serengeti National Park expand_more
    • Get up for an early breakfast at 6.00 am.

    • Do game viewing drive en-route to Serengeti National Park with your Tanzanian safari guide. Serengeti is the largest and most famous park in Tanzania, known worldwide for its endless plains, wildebeest migration, herds of lions and other predators like hyenas, cheetahs and leopards. Crocodiles can be found in the Grumeti River, as well as hippos, giraffes, antelopes, and gazelles.

Dinner and overnight will be in the heart of Serengeti at the Lodge/Campsite.

  • Day 4: Serengeti National Park expand_more
    • Enjoy a full day game drive in Serengeti and see predators chasing their prey and enjoy their kill. Serengeti is undoubtedly the best-known wildlife sanctuary in the world, unequalled for its natural beauty and scientific value. Have a game drive in the endless plains of the Serengeti for a chance to see the great herds of wildebeest, zebras and gazelles or a pride of lions lounging in the shade.

Dinner and overnight will be at the lodge/camp.

  • Day 5: Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Conservation Area expand_more
    • After breakfast, go for a morning game drive in Serengeti National Park with a picnic lunch.

    • Later, depart for Ngorongoro Crater Rim via the pre-historic site at Olduvai George.

    • Enjoy a short stop at Olduvai Gorge, the famous archaeological site where the Leakey’s discovered remains of Australopithecus Homo habilis and Homo erectus. It has an amazing landscape that resulted from the tectonic forces, which created the Great Rift Valley millions of years ago.

Dinner and overnight will be at the rim of the crater at the lodge or campsite.

  • Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater to Lake Eyasi expand_more
    • After breakfast, in the morning, descend into the crater for a full day game viewing in the Ngorongoro Crater. There is a very high possibility of spotting the big 5 in one day: lion, rhino, elephant, buffalo and leopard.
