Day 1: Dar es Salaam to Selous Game Reserve expand_more
After breakfast, drive to Selous game reserve.
Have a hot lunch on the way.
Arrive in time for a boat safari on the Rufiji river from 16:00 until sunset.
Dinner and overnight stay at the Hippo campsite.

Day 2: Selous Game Reserve expand_more
Start with a walking safari followed by a full day game drive in the reserve with packed lunch.
Dinner and overnight stay at the Hippo campsite.

Day 3:Selous Game Reserve to Mikumi National Park expand_more
After early breakfast, drive to the Mikumi National Park with packed lunch. This will take between 6 to 7 hrs. Here, drive along the Uluguru mountains that offers a different landscape and scenery.
Arrive for dinner and overnight stay at the Bastian Campsite.

Day 4: Mikumi National Park expand_more
After breakfast, drive out for a game drive in Mikumi National Park until 13:00 hrs, and drive to Mikumi cottage for hot lunch.
Take a short rest, and then go out again for an afternoon game drive until sunset.
Dinner and overnight stay at the Bastian Campsite.

Day 5: Mikumi to Ruaha National Park expand_more
After an early game drive, drive back to the tourist cottage for breakfast and then start the drive to Ruaha National Park.
Arrive in time for a late afternoon game at Ruaha National Park.
Dinner and overnight stay at tourist bandas.

Day 6: Ruaha National Park expand_more
After breakfast, go out for a full day game drive with packed lunch.
Dinner and overnight stay at tourist bandas.

Day 7: Ruaha National Park expand_more
Work up for an early morning game drive until 09:00 hrs and then drive back at the bandas for breakfast.
Take a short rest and then go out again for a full day game drive.
Dinner and overnight stay at the tourist bandas.

Day 8: Ruaha National Park to Udzungwa Mountain National Park expand_more
After breakfast, start with a drive to Udzungwa Mountain National Park.
Arrive here in the late afternoon for an overnight stay at Hondo Hondo campsite.

Day 9: Udzungwa Mountain National Park expand_more
After breakfast, go out for rainforest mountain trekking.
Take the famous route of the Sanje trail and pass three different waterfalls until you reach the top. Try swimming in one of the waterfall pools. Get a chance to see different species of primates like black and white colobus monkey, mangabey colobus monkeys, udzungwa red colobus monkey, blue colobus monkey etc.
After trekking, go back to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 10: Udzungwa to Dar es Salaam expand_more
After breakfast, start the drive back to Dar es Salaam city.
Take a short lunch break in Morogoro town.
Then, get a drop off at a hotel, ferry or airport for your own arrangement.
