• Depart at 08.30 am from Moshi or Arusha, and transfer by our special safari vehicles to Lake Manyara National Park for game viewing with packed lunch boxes. Lake Manyara National Park has a wonderful mosaic of different habitats, which attracts a whole host of animals, including a high density of elephants.
• Look out for monkeys, antelopes, zebras and hippos too. There are also lions, and some have developed the unusual behaviour of climbing trees for their afternoon snooze. However, they have not mastered the art of dragging their kill high into the branches, as the leopard is so adept at doing.
• Birdlife is fascinating at Lake Manyara, and numbers are at their peak during the rainy season when seed-eaters, insect-eaters and waterbirds thrive. Nomadic quelea (finch-like birds) gather in breeding flocks of many thousands and fly across Lake Manyara National Park in vast twittering clouds. Pelicans, storks, geese, herons and cormorants share their water world with migrant flamingoes, which come and feed on the algae rich water and turn the crystalline edges of the soda lake into vibrant pink.

• After breakfast, transfer straight to Serengeti NP with packed lunch via Olduvai Gorge Museum in Ngorongoro – the archaeological site of Leakey’s family.

• After breakfast, full day game viewing at Serengeti with packed lunch.
• Enjoy a game drive on the Serengeti plains, searching for the migration, the largest concentration of plains game (wildebeest, zebra and gazelle) to be found anywhere in the world. Also the predators (lion and cheetah) and the scavengers (hyena and jackals) together with elephant, buffalo, giraffe, warthog and many other species of both big and small game.

• After breakfast, another full day game viewing at Serengeti with packed lunch.

• Early morning transfer to Ngorongoro Crater for full-day safari with packed lunch.

• Enjoy a full-day tour with packed lunch.

• After early breakfast, have another day game viewing at Tarangire National Park.
• Have lunch and then afternoon transfer back to Arusha or Moshi while visiting curio shops on the way.
• Departure from Moshi/Arusha for further onward journey.
