• Get ready for your pick up from the hotel, home or ferry port.
• Be briefed about the tour before driving to Mikumi town283 kilometres by car, arriving at Mikumi on the same day -late afternoon.
• Arrive at your camp/lodge and relax for half an hour before the Maasai tour at Maasai Village. Maasai are a Nilotic ethnic group inhabiting northern, central and southern Kenya and northern Tanzania. They are among the best-known local populations due to their residence near the many game parks of the African Great Lakes and their distinctive customs and dress.

After the Maasai tour, you will return to your hotel for dinner and overnight at a camp/lodge.

• Rise early for breakfast at the camp/lodge.
• Depart after breakfast for a full day game drive in the Mikumi National Park up to sunset. On the way to the park, you will occasionally spot the Impala, Elephants, Giraffe, Zebra, and birds.
• See the commonly seen animals including elephants, Giraffe, Zebra, Antelope, Wildebeest, Eland, Crocodile, Hippo, Baboon. If luck, you can see Lions and ultimately the Leopard.
• Visit the Hippo Pool, where you can watch hippos wallowing and snorting at close range. Mikumi inhabits over 300 species of birds.

Drive back to camp/lodge for dinner and overnight.

• Rise early for breakfast before a short morning game drive en-route while driving back to Dar es Salaam with a lunch box.

• Get dropped off at the hotel/airport/seaport.
