Description

Travel from Arusha to explore the Serengeti National Park, one of the best national parks in northern Tanzania, Africa, known for its massive annual migration of wildebeest and zebra. Visit Ngorongoro Conservation Area in northern Tanzania, home to the vast, volcanic Ngorongoro Crater. Enjoy a game drive in search of the Big 5 and browse Tanzania's vast countryside in a quest for wildebeests, hartebeests, elephants, giraffes, waterbucks, flamingos, zebras, and more.

  • Day 1: Arusha-Serengeti National Park expand_more
    • Pick up from Arusha and travel to the famous Serengeti National Park, via the southwest rim of the Ngorongoro crater, Malanja depression, and Olduvai woodland.

    • Arrive at the park and look for elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, elands, hartebeests, gazelles, warthogs, and different birds.

    • Enjoy a picnic lunch at the park.

    • Catch a glimpse of predatory animals like lions, hyenas, leopards, and cheetahs.

    Dinner and overnight stay at Seronera campsite. 

  • Day 2: Serengeti National Park-Ngorongoro Conservation Area expand_more
    • Drive towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area through spectacular habitats, from the dramatic Bologonja river valley via the Klein’s/Lobo woodlands, center of the park and the southern open grasslands to Naabi hill exit gate. 

    • Proceed to the rim of the Ngorongoro crater and check-in at the Ngorongoro Simba campsite. 

    Dinner and overnight stay at the campsite.

  • Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater-Arusha expand_more
    • Rise early in the morning and enjoy a day game drive at Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
    • Discover the Ngorongoro crater and enjoy a picnic breakfast on the crater floor, inhabited by plenty of wild residents, including the black rhino.

    • Look for the predatory animals of the crater floor, including the lions, leopards, and hyenas.

    Depart for Arusha.
