    • Depart Dar es Salaam early morning to Mikumi. 

    • Have lunch at the camp.

    • Go for an afternoon game drive.

    Dinner and overnight Angalia Tented Camp.

  • Day 2: Explore Mikumi expand_more

    • Enjoy a full day Mikumi game drive.

  • Day 3: Mikumi to Udzungwa expand_more

    • Have breakfast, and go on a short game drive in the park.

    • Leave for Udzungwa National Park.

    Overnight stay at Udzungwa Forest Camp in a thatched banda next to the forest.

  • Day 4: Explore Udzungwa expand_more

    • Hike into the superb primary forest to the base and then the top of the spectacular Sanje Waterfall looking for primates on the way.

    • Swim in plunge pools, see endemic African Violets growing in the spray zones, and have lunch in the forest on the top of the falls. 

    • Descend after enjoying superb views.

    • Return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

  • Day 5: Udzungwa to Dar es Salaam expand_more

    • Have breakfast and walk along the forest edge at Hondo Hondo.

    • Transfer to Dar Es Salaam with lunch on the way.

    • Drop at the ferry to Zanzibar.
