On your arrival, you will meet your local guide waiting for you the guide will help you get your luggage and check in to the Lawns hotel in Lushoto for lunch.

• In the late afternoon, start walking to Irente viewpoint via Yoghoi village and meet Sambaa tribe’s and learn their ways of life.

• View the landscape of Yoghoi village, ascend to the viewpoint which is 1500m above sea level for sunset.

• Drive back to your hotel for dinner. 

Overnight at Lawns Hotel (3-4hrs)

• After breakfast, you will hike through Lushoto township to Kwembago village enter the forest via Kwembago Trail. Enjoy breathtaking of Magamba Nature Forest Reserve, learn about flora and fauna of the Forest to Kigulu Hakwewa viewpoint.

• Visit the Germany trench dug and used during WW1, hear the stories about Germany and British Colonial Rules and their interactions with Shambaa Chiefs.

• Relax for a few minutes and enter the Magamba Cultural tourism centre for local lunch.

• Continue walking, or, if tired, catch public transport to Lukozi - the area inhabited mostly by Pare tribe. If it is a market day, you will meet the local people at Lukozi local market. Purchase some fruits and connect to Malindi Village for dinner.

Overnight at Bushi Baby homestay.

(7-8hrs)

• After breakfast, walk through villages and the settlement of Mbugu and pare tribes.

• Pass through the nice landscapes and vegetable farms lined with eucalyptus. You will also pass through the villages of Makose and Kagulio, enjoy Rangwi village Mountain peaks, and meet some kids and local people on the way to Rangwi Sister’s Convert.

Have a fun nightlife with local villagers. 

Dinner and overnight at Rangwi Sisters house (6-7hrs)

• After breakfast, walk through the Village of Emao, where you will have a nice view of Usambara's beautiful scenery.

• Pass through Shagayu Forest, proceed to Goka village, Sunga Village, Mabughai Village, with picnic lunch somewhere on the way.

• Visit the Pottery making women; if interested, you can learn how to make ceramic pots by using clay soil.

• Walk down to Mtae Village.

• Visit the Worldview point, enjoy the panoramic view of Pare mountains in Kilimanjaro region, connect with sunsets around 0630.

• Late evening, go back to your lodge for dinner.

Overnight at Magumba Cultural Cottage (7-8 hrs)

• Half-day activities and hiking in Mtae and coffee tour to Magamba Eco village with local mamas and cookings.

Wake up early to catch transport to Dar es Salaam/Kilimanjaro/Arusha/Tanga.
