Drive to Marangu Gate. Complete the registrations, and start the hike with your guide towards Mandara Hut. This hike will take around 4 hours.
Arrive in time for lunch here, and then walk to Maundi crater area for a view of Mount Kilimanjaro.
Descend down to Marangu Gate and board your vehicle followed by a drive back to your booked hotel at Arusha for a hot shower, rest, dinner and overnight stay.
