Once at the hotel, you can relax by the pool in peace with a cool Tanzanian drink.

    Meals status: Bed and breakfast

  • Day 2: Acclimatization expand_more

After breakfast, we will acclimatize in the lodge or hotel with the swimming pool. During the day, a representative from our office will come by and tell you everything about the upcoming safari, then dinner and overnight—meals status, bed and breakfast.

  • Day 3: Arusha National Park expand_more

You have a morning breakfast, drive to Arusha National Park for a full-day game viewing, then dinner and overnight at African View Hotel—meals status- full board.

The Arusha National Park is located around Mount Meru, a half-hour drive from your lodge. In this park, you drive through a mountainous area of an abundant tropical rainforest with various lakes and craters. You can drive through here in the safari jeep, but you can also opt for a walking safari with a ranger or get into a canoe and admire the park from the water! Arusha National Park is known for the black and white Colobus monkey, which swings majestically through the trees with its long-haired coat. Enjoy these and other monkeys while spotting more than four hundred species of tropical birds, colourful butterflies, zebras, buffalos, giraffes,  and many other animals.

  • Day 4: Mount Meru Waterfalls expand_more

Breakfast is followed by the following:-

    • A visit to the Mount Meru waterfalls.
    • A mountain bike tour in the beautiful surroundings of Arusha.
    • Walk through the coffee plantations.
    • Visit a local market or take a canoe trip on Lake Duluti. (Meals status- full board)
  • Day 5: Tarangire National Park expand_more

Morning breakfast and drive to Tarangire National Park for game viewing, lunch, dinner, and overnight at Farm of Dreams—meals status- full board.

In the 2,600 square kilometres of the Tarangire National Park, huge baobab trees that are several hundred years old and large groups of elephants alternate in the fight for your attention. Moreover, consider that you can see the Tarangire River and many other wildlife here, and you will understand why Tarangire is a popular safari park.

  • Day 6 - 8: Serengeti National Park expand_more

After breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park for 2 nights/3 days full game drive with dinner and overnight at Serengeti Safari Lodge—meals status- full board.

Serengeti means endless plains in the Maasai language, and that is precisely what you will see in the coming days: miles and miles of African savannah! And believe us: it may be the most impressive landscape you will ever see. And, of course, Serengeti National Park is also home to an incredible variety of wildlife – which is why many nature films have been filmed here.

Take in this unique landscape as the wildebeest and zebras of the Great Migration pass by, bleating. Spot lions on a group of rocks (the so-called Kopps), leopards in lonely trees, or cheetahs searching for a calf among the wildebeest. Pass giraffes, hippos, crocodiles, gazelles, and, if you're lucky, a velvet cat or wild dog. If you want to do something special, you can view these plains from a hot balloon.

  • Day 9: Ngorongoro Conservation Area expand_more

Early morning breakfast and drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area for dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Luxury Tented Camp—meals status- full board.

The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is an immense nature reserve that is perhaps the most special place in Africa – the Ngorongoro Crater! This is a relatively small but very fertile area of 20 by 20 kilometres, surrounded by a steep crater rim. Nowhere in the world will you find so many wild animals in a small area as here – up to 25,000 large animals roam on an average day! Today, you, therefore, have a good chance of seeing several members of the big five: lions, elephants, and buffalos can be found here in abundance. Moreover, the crater is home to several dozen rare black rhinos, and nowhere are you more likely to see them than here!

  • Day 10 - 14: Zanzibar Island expand_more

After breakfast, depart for Zanzibar for 4 days/3 night tour.

From today onwards,  the trip will be relaxing. Step out of the safari jeep onto the plane and arrive on the snow-white beaches of Zanzibar! Enjoy a delicious drink under the palm trees while local fishermen bring in the day's catch in authentic wooden sailing boats. Try local dishes in the restaurants or mouth-watering fresh fish and seafood. When the sun sets in the evening, and everything turns magical red, you know you have arrived in paradise.

What to bring

Ensure you bring khaki-coloured clothing instead of dark blue or black, which tends to draw tsetse flies. Sunglasses, insect repellant, sunscreen, and wide-brimmed hats are essential. It's recommended that you wear long pants, long-sleeved shirts, socks, and insect repellent to prevent mosquito bites after dusk.

Women shouldn't wear short skirts, thigh-high shorts, sleeveless shirts, or exposing shirts. However, capri trousers or at least knee-length shorts are acceptable. For men, knee-length shorts or pants are appropriate.

Camouflage clothing is illegal in some African countries, and bright colours, black and white, should be avoided unless around the lodge. Dark colours also tend to be more attractive to insects. Technical fabrics are also preferable over natural fibres for their comfort and performance in hot climates.

Know before you go

This trip is a true private safari, meaning you can get the most out of your trip! In consultation with the guide, you decide when the game drive starts and ends and how long you stay with certain animals.

Please don't hesitate to ask the driver guide anything you want to know about your adventure trip safari. The driver guides have an enormous knowledge of nature and the country, and they are happy to share to make your trip to Tanzania memorable and enjoyable.

The hotels and lodges are premium standards, which we specially select based on their excellent quality and service. Those who want more luxurious hotels or lodges accommodation feel free to communicate.
