Know before you go

  • Mikumi National Park is one of the easily accessible parks in Tanzania through the main road from Dar es Salaam that goes direct to Malawi, Zambia, Congo, Zimbabwe and South Africa. 

  • We can easily pick our clients from Dar es Salaam early morning and drive to Mikumi National Park. This will take around 6-7 hours.  

  • We will arrive in Mikumi National Park during the afternoon. There we can have our lunch and start our afternoon game drive on the first day. 

  • The park hosts lots of animals such as 4 of the Big Five, which are elephants, buffalos, lions and leopards.  

  • Apart from those 4 of the Big Five, there are lots of other animals, including hippopotamus, crocodile, giraffe, zebras, different species of antelopes and about 300 species of birds.
