Day 1: Hotel to Rock Garden - Uluguru Mountains expand_more
After you wake up early at the hotel and sleep well, enjoy a good breakfast. Then, the tour guide will be there on time to take you to the Uluguru mountains!
The trail starts at the Rock Garden, passing through the farmlands into the Uluguru villages. You will see the difference in local mixed Agriculture systems at the highest altitudes of the Uluguru mountains! However, this hike often takes four hours from the starting point to the Choma waterfalls.
When you arrive at the Choma waterfalls, rest and then continue hiking to reach the Oldest German Mountain Hut (Morningside), where you will stay one night and have delicious food prepared by our professional chief cook. Enjoy a spectacular night view of Morogoro town from the Oldest German Mountain Hut.

Day 2: Morningside to Bondwa Peak expand_more
After waking up early at the Oldest German Mountain Hut, have coffee and breakfast.
Continue hiking towards Bondwa Peak, which will take about three hours until you reach the top of the Uluguru mountains. While you are on the way to reach the peak, spot different species of plants, wildflowers, and monkeys - Black and White Colobus Monkey, Vervets Monkey; also, listen to different sounds of birds such as African Great Turaco etc. When you reach Bondwa Peak, you will enjoy beautiful landscape views of the Uluguru mountains if the weather is friendly.
After some rest, you should return to the Oldest German Mountain Hut and have lunch.
