Hike from Lushoto town through the local villages as you head to this small romantic waterfall.

Pass through “Jaegersthal” (a residential farming area bordering the natural forest which is a colonial German heritage known as the “hunting valley”).

Observe local life and farming in Lushoto, when passing through Jaegersthal before entering the Magamba nature reserve. Take the chance to learn more about endemic plants of Usambara as well as medicinal plants and their traditional use.

Continue walking through some other small villages, and native and re-planted forests until you finally arrive at the Mkuzu waterfalls.

Enjoy a wonderful break at the waterfalls – have picnic lunch while listening to the soothing sounds of nature.
