Day 1: Lukozi/Malindi expand_more
After breakfast, start walking from Lushoto town, passing the small natural rain forests, villages, fields, and farmlands.
Get many chances to talk to the local people on the way to Lukozi/Malindi village.
Stay in a comfortable local guesthouse, or stay in Bush Baby Homestay on the other side of Malindi.

Day 2: Malindi to Rangwi expand_more
Depart Malindi and continue your trip to Rangwi, a farmers village with nice hills, landscape and peaks nearby.
For your overnight stay, you will be warmly welcomed by the Rangwi Sisters in their convent. You will get a chance to chat with local people as you go for the evening walk after tea/coffee.

Day 3: Rangwi to Mtae expand_more
Reach Mtae, where the Usambara Mountains find their end surrounded by wonderful views and sceneries. Kilimanjaro, Mkomazi National Park and Tsavo West Hills in Kenya can be seen on a clear day. Enjoy the widest view in Mtae.
Overnight in Mtae.

Catch the public bus (private transport can be organized) back to Lushoto.
