Visit Taipei 101, once the world's tallest building. The tower's architecture is based on the idea of bamboo, a symbol with great meaning in traditional Chinese culture. Go up to the 101 Observatory and see a spectacular sight of the Taipei cityscape from 382 metres above the ground.

Set out to the Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall, an important landmark for Taiwan’s democratic progress. It is also where the National Theater and Concert Hall are located.

Make your way to the Longshan Temple, located in the Wanhua district in the west of Taipei. It was built in 1738 by Fujian settlers for the safety of the neighbourhood. 280 years later, Longshan remains the spiritual heart of Taipei.

Explore the National Palace Museum. Observe Song, Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties' cultural relics and see the famous Jadeite Cabbage, Meat-Shaped Stone, and Mao Gong Ding.
