Because of the influence of volcanic activity, sulfur vents and hot springs have formed in the area, making it unique and magnificent. Travellers can also find the Macao hot spring here.
• Walk down the Qingtiangang Grassland Trail where you will see the misty landscape of Yangmingshan. The panoramic views of the mountain and grassland may make visitors miss the place. Because the ranch of cattle was here under Japanese rule, cows might be a usual sight.
• Go to the Yangmingshan Bamboo Zhuzihu, it is often rainy and misty, and damp. So if you overlook Taipei 101 from here, it might be visible standing in the hazy mist. Besides, you can have a walk along the arrow bamboo trail after picking Calla Lily in Zhuzihu from March to May. The bamboo nearby grows in dense clusters. It is the perfect wind-breaking barrier.
