Recently, my wife and I spent a 10-day holiday trip in Albania. During most of the trip, Arben was our private guide and driver. Arben did a fantastic job. Actually, he was much more than just a guide. Apart from showing us many of the touristic highlights and informing us of the historical and cultural background thereof, he gave us so much additional information on the current situation in Albania - both positive and very critical - that we really got to know the country. Arben is certainly not a dime a dozen guide, but a person who loves his country - although sometimes critically - and who understands very well how to pass this on to tourists (and many others) from abroad.
