I first contacted Amith and found out that the best way to experience this beautiful country is with a local guide.After reading through many reviews by others, I felt acquainted already and decided to give it a shot. Amith very quickly helped to plan out a full 9 day itinerary after hearing that my friends and i prefer "nature, adventures and animals". The itineray was splendidly detailed and very thoughtful. To our plasent surprise, when we arrived, not a single minute was wasted on things we didnt like. Amith is passionate about Sri Lanka's culture and landscape, his people and also their way of living. He has an advanced and open mind, and has so much love for his country- despite it not being the most advanced country. Travelling with someone like him makes the trip extremely educational and engaging. We not only got to see the mesmerising country, but was also introduced to snippets of the historical happenings of Sri Lanka. In Amith, we found a true friend who cares, appreciates and value our presence in his country. I know that we will miss Sri Lanka upon our return home, and that is because Amith has done such an amazing role bringing the beauty of the country before our eyes, touching our hearts. We are lucky to experience Sri Lanka and to have fallen in love with the county. And Sri Lanka is lucky to have Amith. Thanks alot, Amith. Til we meet again.
